The EWE EP-41 (Earth Weapon Enterprises Energy Pistol) was designed to be the standard issue laser handgun for units of the Federal Imperial Forces, but eventually proved a bit too heavy. Some FIF army space divisions still use them as secondary weapons.

 

This is the upgraded Imperial Guardian version of the weapon.
