Originally designed to be fully autonomous droids ment to protect IFN assets these droids have received illegal upgrades using smuggler technology.

Although IFN scientists managed to recover a few of these droids they have not been able to locate any modifications to the AI or any of the Firmware and no sign of any remote link systems. Exactly how these droids AI have been compromised remains a highly debated mystery.

Among the modifications made there is a new fire control system and increased armor.
