This world can be strange, and once something as powerful as the Gorgon has the level of control that is does here, often it connot be fully destroyed so easily. Her spirit, or shade may live on. He can guide you to the way to defeat her, via some tasks to aquire items. It will be a trial, but maybe you'll find some legendary items she has been keeping. Who knows?

Overall needing quite a few of Lesser Elysia (ingredients 8x Lysterium Ingot, 20x Vibrant Sweat) and Block Chisel (ingredients 8x Iron Ingot, 2x Cyclops Wrist Guard, 50x Elysian Tech Chip, 24x Lesser Elysia)

It is quite a pain and quite expensive too (though used to be much more expensive before revision and MU drops on needed ingredients)
